Professional Experience
 Complaint Management System: Developed an online Complaint Management System for
Reliance Energy (June 2006 – May 2007). The system provides customers with an online user
interface to log and track customer complaints. It was implemented using .NET framework.
The business logic was developed using MS C# and SQL server was used to persist
complaint/customer information. The system has been implemented and is currently being
used by the reliance customers.

Curriculum Project Assignments
 Data warehouse for banking Consortium: The objective of this assignment was to design
and build a banking data warehouse system for performing optimum business analysis
activities and decision making tasks. For faster data access appropriate indexes and
partitions were created in the Oracle data warehouse.
 Multi-Threaded Web Server: Built a multi-threaded Web server that is capable of
processing multiple simultaneous service requests in parallel. HTTP version 1.0 was used
for implementation and separate HTTP requests were sent for each component of the Web
page. The code was implemented in two different phases comprising of HTTP Request and HTTP
Response. The project was developed using core java.
 Web Proxy Server: Developed a web proxy server which is able to cache web pages. The
proxy server understands simple GET-requests, but is able to handle all kinds of objects,
not just HTML pages, but also images. The proxy uses Data Input Streams for processing the
replies from servers because the replies are a mixture of textual and binary data.
 Heat Distribution Problem: Developed a single-threaded (serial) program using Jacobi
iteration to compute temperature inside a room and plot the changes with different colors.
To make it more efficient changed the implementation to be multi-threaded (parallel
processing). The project was developed using C language making use of various Message
Passing Interface (MPI) routines.
 Ethical Hacking:
Explored, analyzed and exploited different flaws in Windows XP and
Linux operating system by making use of different tools and utilities such as nmap,
nessus, ftp, packet sniffers and password crackers. SQL Injection and Cross Site Scripting
techniques were used to exploit the scripting errors made by the administrator.

 Multi-Language Text Editor: Developed a text editor utility with basic features such as
opening, editing, compressing and saving of text files in different languages. The utility
was developed using core Java and Java swing API. It is a secure alternative to WordPad
that implements strong data encryption.
 Computerized Voting System: As part of Diploma curriculum designed and developed a
Computerized Voting System for Mumbai University (June 2003 – May 2004) using MS Visual
Basic & MS Access. An electronic voting box was interfaced with the central server on
parallel port to make the casting of vote simple and secure using different encryption
techniques.
