About
I have had international training and experience in the US and Hong Kong as an auditor
with KPMG and I have obtained certification under IFRS.
With a background in computer science, I have been able to move into positions and
identify and improve the effectiveness of the existing processes by developing customized

KPMG, LLP – Los Angeles, CA June 2006 – November 2008
Senior Audit Associate
• Los Angeles Metropolitan Transit Authority – Senior in-charge of National Transit
Database (NTD) reporting for Metro. Management of one staff to complete agreed upon
procedures requiring understanding of the NTD Manual and development of procedures for
the new client.
• Countrywide Financial Corporation – Senior auditor in-charge of SEC Reporting,
EPS, stockholders’ equity and salaries & benefits. I also performed analysis of the
quarterly litigation accrual and made inquiries with CFC Legal Managing Director.
Generally I supervised teams of between 2 to 5 staff and managed progress of fieldwork,
worked with team members to resolve accounting issues, maintain client relations and meet
engagement deadlines. I was engaged with client management in discussing significant
audit differences, material weaknesses, and internal control deficiencies. I initiated
the developed software to assist in automating some labor intensive areas, significantly
reducing auditor hours of the audit in my areas with reports free of human error and
introduced a file sharing system.
Countrywide Financial Corporation was my primary client whilst at KPMG LLP and I was the
senior in charge of seven 10-Q filings and two 10-K filings.
Being such a high-profile client with the media, I have also had experience with the
PCAOB in the review occurring before the Bank of America acquisition.
• International Rectifier – A KPMG Advisory project to prepare financial
statements. I was the team leader of 2 staff for preparation of the Q308 Form 10-Q and
introduced and designed software tools to improve team efficiency and assisted both KPMG
and contracted legal team with markup tracking during version redrafting.
• Landsafe Title of California – Senior in-charge of annual audit. My
responsibilities included review of the allowance for doubtful debt, preparation of the
concurring partner review package and managed two staff.
• Achieved exceptional performance rating for the 2006-2007 evaluation.
• Prepared and presented regional office training sessions in accounting topics
covering the banking industry.
• I was a member of the “Involve!” committee, KPMG Los Angeles’ community program.
• Vector Champion: Specialist in KPMG’s primary audit software and specially
trained and recognized as staff to assist and train colleagues to understand and use the

(HSBC subsidiary) audit working on taxicab leases. Performed audit of three property
holding subsidiaries. Staff on main financial reporting team with responsibilities to

statements. Worked on comfort letter for debt issuances. Managed progress of
international reporting which required coordinating other KPMG offices throughout the
