Description: : This project was also an auto insurance project. In this project, there
are 4 modules-Auto module-creations of auto policy and its endorsements, BNR-Billings and
receivables, PUL-Personal Umbrella Liability, TDI- Temporary Disability Insurance.
BNR was the module which was mainly responsible for proper billing purpose. There were 2
types of policies for BNR-Direct Bill and Group Bill.
Direct Bill policies were those policies for which bills were to be sent to each customer.
They were of 3 types-1-pay,2-pay and 4-pay.In 1-Pay policy, customer had to pay the entire
premium in 1 installment while in 2-pay,2 installments was permitted and in 4 -pay,4
installments were permitted. The records were maintained by ledger and installment
schedule for each policy.
Group Bill policies were those policies for which automated deduction from credit card
,bank account, payroll were feasible and no bills were sent to the customer but a
consolidated deduction was done. They were of 4 types-EFT,RCC,PDP,APD.In case of EFT
policies, deductions were done via Bank account while for RCC policies ,it was done
through Credit Card and also in case of PDP and APD-Payroll was the mode for deductions
.These policies were maintained via deduction schedule and ledger entries individually.
Also payment, assess/waive of fees, Reverse Payment, Misapplied Payment were also possible
in this module.
TDI was the modules that used to insurance to companies. Any company could buy a single
TDI Policy for all its employees. In this module, creation & endorsement as well of
cancellation of policies were possible. They were of 3 types-monthly, quarterly and
annually. In each case, an audit was generated monthly or quarterly or annually depending
on the type of the policy and was sent to the company. the company used to report back
with the employee count and eventually premium was calculated and bill was sent.
Responsibilities:
• Involved in the project preparation phase like gathering end application
requirements, Service Specification Documentations, Designing Interface specification
documents.
• Responsible for 24X7 supports related to reported issues.
• Involved in Batch Monitoring for successful processing of all transactions.
• Worked on Coding for incorporation of any endorsements in the policy
• Worked on PL/SQL Query handling and incorporation of requirements.

create a quote online using individual login id and password and after receiving the
required payment, the quote was converted into an auto policy. Any endorsement or payment
