Dear Hiring Managers: An international graduate from the University of California at Berkeley majoring in Cognitive Science with a concentration in Computational Modeling, I am seeking a full- time web development position in the US, preferably in the San Francisco Bay Area. I am currently holding an F1/OPT work authorization, which allows me to work in America for twelve months after graduation. After that period, my work status can be renewed by changing my F1 visa to an H1-B visa, which will allow me to contribute even more to your company. The H1-B process is straightforward and I will pay all the lawyer fees incurred. The advantage of sponsoring an H1-B visa is that after a certain period of time, if you are not satisfied with my performance, you can always terminate my employment without worrying about any legal issue. If you do not sponsor an H1-B, that will not be a problem! I am willing to be an independent contractor until my OPT status expires. I am well versed in web development, including JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, CSS, XML, among other programming languages such as Java, C/C++, and Python. I am a great team player and am particularly interested in Web 2.0 technologies and always strive for W3C- recommmended, clean, and maintainable code. My technology-aware and hard-working nature enable me to quickly adapt to new technologies with minimal training. I can be contacted at (510) 332-8616 if you believe I am a good match for a prospective opening. I look forward to discussing how I would benefit your company. Sincerely, Toan Nguyen |
