CHILD CARE 

Experienced Christian mother is seeking children to watch in my Mechanicsville home. Six 
miles from Cold Harbor elementary school (Black Creek / Old church area) 10 minutes from 
Bottoms Bridge. I am a mother of three and a grandmother of one. Working with me is my 
mother in-law; she is a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. We have a total 
combined over 70 yrs of child care experience. My mother in-law has worked in two day 
care centers as well as having been a nanny for many years, many certificates. We are 
Trustworthy, Nurturing and Energetic providing a safe environment full of learning, lots 
of playtime. For school age children, I can assist with homework if you like. Toys, 
cloth on all baby seats and furniture is cleaned, sanitized, and disinfected daily. We 
believe in the idea of small learning environments, learning friendships between 
children and a warm friendly family style atmosphere. We believe in the importance of 
giving children the personal attention they need to develop academically, mentally and 
emotionally. Our small group sizes limit the level of intimidation that can sometimes 
occur in large learning environments.
Balance is necessary in developing healthy minds 
and we know how to have fun! We balance our learning activities by exploring: Listening 
Center (Books on Tape) Story Telling and Book Readings. Much more

Standard hours: Monday – Friday 7:00am – 6:00pm
Extended Hours: Available for an additional Fee (including nights and weekend must be 
made in advanced)

We add Christian principles of love, respect, honor and integrity to help develop 
positive personalities and behaviors in young children. In a world filled with difficult 
choices and paths, we believe that a childs spiritual growth is just as important as 
their mental and emotional growth. 

Dear Parents,
I have seen firsthand how difficult it is for children to learn to their full potential 
in large group settings. Not only is it difficult for the child but for the teacher as 
well. Many times I would become frustrated with the lack of attention I was able to give 
each child. It was always my recommendation to parents that they spend at least 15 
minutes of 1-on-1 learning time daily with their children in order for them to reach 
their full potential. We will have the opportunity to address those issues and see a 
much greater reward in each childs education, personality and behavior.

PUBLIC SERVICE DISCOUNT - 10%
Includes Law Enforcement, Education, Military Fire Prevention and Medical professionals 
(Proof of profession must be presented at time of enrollment).
CHRISTIAN AFFILIATES DISCOUNT - 10%
We are a private Christian based school. This includes All "Christian based" religious 
leaders and workers (salaried or volunteer). Proof of status must be presented at the 
time of enrollment.
COMMUNITY SERVICE DISCOUNT- 5%
Volunteers for Community Service organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Red Cross, 
United Way or other "non profit community service based" organizations and programs. 
Proof of participation must be presented at the time of enrollment.

REFERENT REFFERAL PROGRAM -5%
Up to 2 referrals. Any parent (enrolled in our program) who refers and enrolls another 
family will receive an additional 5% off of their enrollment 
for the endurance of their stay at our school. (10% limit).
