The Importance of Restretching and
Power Stretching Your Carpets:

All carpet makers and the Carpet
& Rug Institute (CRI) recommend
that all new carpets be "power
stretched," at time of installation.

Most carpet installers are paid by
the yard, and they dont take the
necessary time to use the power
stretching method.

Often times, when not installed
with a power stretch, new carpets
will begin to ripple and wave in
about 16 months.
