For over 37 years Old Colony Hospice has been a leader in providing superior end-of -life
care to patients and their families right in your community.
We are a not for profit
organization based in West Bridgewater.
Currently, Old Colony Hospice is seeking new
energetic and dedicated volunteers for a family right in your backyard.
Volunteers are an essential part of the care we provide; they are the heart of Old Colony
Hospice.
Our non-profit organization relies heavily on exceptional individuals to help
our staff deliver programs and services to patients, family members, and the community.
Volunteers truly play an integral role on our team by providing day-to-day compassionate
support to patients and families.
Our Patient Care Volunteers specialize in:
Patient and Family Support at the end of life - spending meaningful social and
recreational time with patients, help with simple caregiving tasks or maintaining
supportive contact with the family.
Other Specialized Services:
-Massage Therapy -Music Therapy
-Pet Therapy
-Reiki
-Vigil and Rosary -Making grief support calls to families
Volunteers can help patients in their very own community and neighborhoods.
We offer a
comprehensive training program, rewarding experiences and strong volunteer appreciation
and support.
